Yogurt Parfait with Honey and Fruits (Printable Version)

Layered creamy yogurt with honey and fresh mixed fruits for a quick, delicious treat.

# What You Need:

→ Dairy

01 - 2 cups plain Greek yogurt

→ Sweetener

02 - 4 tablespoons honey

→ Fresh Fruits

03 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
04 - 1 cup fresh blueberries
05 - 1 cup fresh kiwi, peeled and chopped
06 - 1 medium banana, sliced

→ Toppings

07 - 1/2 cup granola or toasted nuts
08 - Fresh mint leaves for garnish

# How To Make It:

01 - Wash, peel, and slice all fruits as needed. Hull and slice the strawberries, leave the blueberries whole, peel and chop the kiwi, and slice the banana into even rounds.
02 - Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt into the bottom of each parfait glass or serving bowl, spreading it into an even layer.
03 - Drizzle approximately 1/2 tablespoon of honey evenly over the yogurt layer in each glass.
04 - Arrange a generous layer of sliced strawberries, blueberries, chopped kiwi, and banana slices over the honey-drizzled yogurt.
05 - Spoon another layer of yogurt over the fruit, then drizzle with additional honey. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients have been used, finishing with a fruit layer on top.
06 - Sprinkle granola or toasted nuts over the top layer if desired, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
07 - Serve immediately to maintain the crunch of the granola, or refrigerate for 20 minutes for a softer, more melded texture.

# Helpful Hints:

01 -
  • It takes exactly ten minutes from fridge to table, which means you can pull this off on the laziest morning imaginable.
  • The layers look so beautiful in clear glasses that people will think you spent far more effort than you actually did.
  • You can swap in whatever fruit is sitting in your fridge, so nothing ever goes to waste.
02 -
  • If you assemble these more than an hour ahead without the granola, the fruit juices will bleed into the yogurt and create a muddy look instead of clean distinct layers.
  • Bananas will brown quickly once sliced, so always cut them last and consider a very light toss with lemon juice if you need them to hold their color for more than a few minutes.
03 -
  • Use a tall clear glass rather than a wide bowl because the visible layers are half the joy of a parfait, and height creates a much more dramatic presentation.
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for ten minutes before assembling because cold glasses keep the yogurt firmer and make the whole experience feel more refreshing from the very first bite.
