# How To Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the prepared tray, presentation side up. Brush each fillet lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine the Boursin cheese with chives, dill, and lemon zest until smooth and well blended.
04 - Spread the Boursin mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet, covering evenly.
05 - Bake the salmon for 15–18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is lightly golden.
06 - Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges alongside steamed vegetables or rice.

# Helpful Hints:

01 -
  • Boursin melts into a golden herb flecked crust that makes people think you spent an hour when you barely spent ten minutes.
  • The whole thing cooks on one tray so cleanup is basically throwing away parchment paper and calling it a night.
02 -
  • Do not overbake because salmon goes from silky to dry in what feels like thirty seconds so start checking at the fifteen minute mark.
  • Let the Boursin sit at room temperature for ten minutes before mixing so it spreads smoothly without tearing the fish.
03 -
  • A sprinkle of crushed pink peppercorns over the cheese before baking adds a floral warmth that guests always ask about.
  • Check the Boursin label for allergens if you are serving anyone with dietary restrictions because varieties can differ slightly.
